Joyful Cooking
>> Wednesday, December 15, 2010
Two of my daughters, Madi Grace & Sarah Faith have been learning to cook with me in the kitchen. It has been so much fun!
We cook together and enjoy our meal as a family.
I do not normally "enjoy" cooking - it's more of a "must!!" With my girls I look forward to it daily and so do they. We make a nice supper every evening and are trying new recipes.
I never learned to cook. So I'm learning right along with them but I believe it will make it much better for them starting out and the fact they are cultivating a joyful heart in their cooking.

I love cooking always did as long as I remember :-) I'm sure your girls love spending time with you in the kitchen :-)
I never enjoyed cooking either until Andy bought me my cooking software. This year he bought me the updated version, and I can't wait until it gets here. I'll be able to copy recipes from online onto it, email recipes to friends very easily, and even print cool cookbooks. I only use recipes that have 5 ingredients or less, because I don't like to make complicated meals. I like to make stuff that Morgan can help me with too.
Renee, that is awesome... I know your girls will love cooking as they grow up and learn. They already do so much to "help mama." Good girls!
Kath, I remember you getting that and how awesome you said it was. I'm so happy you are getting the new one! Andy obviously loves your cookin and your happiness! :) :) Kenny and I try to find recipes with 5 ingredients or less but have had a hard time finding them except on occasion in the church cookbooks we have. I'd love any recipes you would be willing to share like that! I bet Morgan is a doll in the kitchen!!!!
How wonderful! I don't enjoy cooking all that much, but I love baking :) I'm learning to find more and more joy in the calling.
Really missing you! I've tried email too. Please let me know that you are okay.
Wondering the same??? Are you ok?
Still praying and wondering about you. I care :)
