Planting some Seeds & Cooking dinner with the children :)

>> Friday, March 18, 2011

Yesterday was so much fun!!
We enjoyed so much time together and yet we still got the house done.  I picked up a tiny little planter set from Michaels for each girl to plant a little tiny planter of flowers.  When they grow I'm going to move all of them into a bigger planter all together.
So here starts the fun!

Here Madi Grace is putting the water onto the potting mix DISC to make it expand and loosen up and get a bit of water into the soil.
Here, Brittany is adding the water for Hannah Joy!
She was looking at it so proudly.  I shouldn't have asked her to look up and smile because BOY is that a FAKE smile!  LOL!!!!
Here Brittany is working on her own!  :)
After you add the water, the disc of soil fills the planter up and you put in no more than six seeds.  Lightly pressing them down.  I accidentally put more than that in Hannah's so I hope hers will be okay.  I got two blue flowers and 2 red flower ones.

Sarah Faith joyfully working on hers!

The girls finishing up putting in their seeds.

I put them in the bay window in the kitchen with m y flowers and their little animals that grow grass as hair.  (Thank you Tamara for those gifts - we have had more fun with them!!!  They love to trim their hair)

The girls LOVE to help me cook!
We were making spaghetti so Sarah Faith was to make the noodles and Madi Grace was to brown the meat and add the sauce.

They were so excited!

Hannah Joy and those fake smiles, hee hee!
She was "watching" them cook but Mommy kept scooting her back so nothing would splash out and give her a boo boo.

Madi Grace fixed her hair and I thought it was pretty cute.

My proud cooks!  They are SO precious!
ALL my girls are and I'm so BLESSED!!!

I had to have their pics in their aprons!
Hannah is a ham and always wants in the picture.  Little cutie pie!

The finished product tho I must admit we had already made our plates when I took this picture.  More than half was leftover and the girls are warming it up in their bowls as I speak for lunch today.
They did a great job and it wa delicious!

I am SO blessed, Thank you JESUS!!!

Easy Mexican Casserole Recipe

>> Thursday, March 17, 2011

Christy asked me to share my recipe and I am honored to do so!
Thank you, Christy, for stopping by my blog and commenting!

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (I use very lean)
1 pkg flour tortillias
1 can Rotel
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can Chili (you choose with or without beans)
1 can Fiest Nacho Cheese soup
(of you can just use Cheese soup if you do not want it hot)
About 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

What to do:
Brown your meat and drain.
Add in your 4 cans of ingredients.
Stir it up as this is your "sauce".

Take out your baking dish and start layering.
Start with a thin layer of sauce then a layer of 2 tortillias side by side.
Keep layering and MAKE SURE you end with sauce on top.
Sprinkle on cheddar cheese evenly and pop it into the oven.
You're basically melting the cheese and heating it up.
Bake on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Wallah!  It's ready.  You can serve alone or you could serve with buttered flour tortillias and refried beans on the side.
ENJOY!  If you make it, I'd love to hear if you liked it!
Blessings!!!

My Girls & Dinner

>> Wednesday, March 16, 2011

While I've been cleaning, my precious girls have been helping and yet having a great time too!  So have I!!

Here are some pictures!!

Painting with a friend over...

Sarah Faith fixing Hannah Joy up all funny and cute!

Playing so well together!

I'm standing in the middle of the room - this is all an empty area because we do not have formal furniture and such.  So we have a little play area fixed there but the big one is in the upstairs living room.  They enjoy both of them at different times.

Before & After - I have finished the bedroom!

>> Tuesday, March 15, 2011

The rest of my home looks great and now the bedroom does too!
I finished it today.  It was worth every minute.  It took me about an hour or hour and a half to completely get things put away properly and tossed, etc..  Now my entire house is company ready!

All I have to do now is maintain everything.  I've been doing really well with that the last few years so it shouldn't be a problem now.  I just have to keep a close eye on the bedroom because it's easy to get messy in there.  I don't want that.  I want to be able to be proud of the house without shutting the bedroom door!  LOL!

Here are the Before & After pics!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Smiling big!

Before & After - the Bedroom

>> Monday, March 14, 2011

I woke up not feeling so well but I prayed and kept moving.
The only place in my house that is messy is my bedroom.  Even the girls have their room neat & clean.  I work on the entire house with the girls help every single day... but as I said before, my bedroom was neglected and quickly got messy.
So today I cleared & cleaned off Hannah's chest of drawers.
*she shares a room with us because we want her close since she has some disabilities in her speach and might need us in the middle of the night*
There are 3 pictures:
Before, After & then Decorated tonight.

The above is the BEFORE obviously!

The After is above.
It's been cleared, put away and then cleaned.

The Decorated!  :)
I like how it looks now a whole lot!

It didn't take long and made a huge difference.
Now the yucky is gone from there!
Just look what you can do when you put your mind to it.
I had decided I wasn't going to let there be a single area in my house that I didn't want company to be able to walk through and see that it's clean.  Not to mention my precious husband and children - I want them to be able to walk through the whole house and feel good about what Mama is doing and how their home is.

A friend asked for a picture of what my fireplace & mantle look like... that or I told her I would send her one.  So I took them today.  I thought I'd share here for those of you who want to see!

It still looks the same as always except today I added the picture on the left of the 3 girls... and for our anniversary or valentine's I got the beautiful Easter Lily plant but I think I've already put pics on here of that.  The pick below is just a narrow view of the fireplace.

BLESSINGS!

Today 2 of my girls were Baptised!

>> Sunday, March 13, 2011

Today, two of my precious daughters were baptised.  Madi Grace & Sarah Faith.  I feel so blessed, SO THANKFUL!  It was a very special time and a special day.

My husband's parents came up to see the girls be baptised even though my FIL has just finished chemo for Stage 2 Lymphoma.
He is HEALED by the way!  PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY!

They got here and of course we're slow so we were still getting ready.  They brought donuts and the girls had breakfast which was wonderful!!

Then, we went to church.
Towards the end of the service it was time for the baptisms.

Madi Grace is walking down to join her sister in the baptistry.
They were baptised together.
In this picture he is sharing about how quiet Sarah Faith was during their time together as he made sure she understood baptism.  He shared how even in her quietness he was able to tell she did fully understand.  He said a few more words and it was really special.

Here Sarah Faith is coming up out of the water signifying a new beginning in life... a life with Jesus.

As you can see here, Madi Grace is coming up out of the water signifying that new life as well.  She thinks it's a funny picture because of the look on her face but she is literally just coming up out of the water.  I think it's precious!

Afterwards, we took everyone to eat at "Babes" which is a special place we love here and thought they would enjoy.  We all did!
Sadly, after we all ate, we had to say goodbye as they had to go  back home.

We had come home from the restaurant and one little turkey of mine had gotten back into the doughnuts!  hee hee!  I bet you can guess just which turkey it was!  Yep!  Hannah Joy!  LoL!

Silly girl, we adore you!

At the restaurant, Nonna & Popaw had given the girls a sack.  It had candy in it and a very special bracelet for Madi & Sarah.  They were even so thoughtful as to put in a Hermie movie for Hannah.  We love Hermie here and we didn't have that one!  Very sweet!
Above Sarah Faith is showing her purple bracelet on her wrist.

Here is an upclose view of it.  It's beautiful and had a heart with a pretty bling on it.  She really loves it!

Here Madi Grace is wearing her special bracelet for me!
Yes, both of their hair dried wild but I forgot to take a brush to the church.  Oops!

Here is an upclose of her beautiful dove with a bling in it.. such a pretty bracelet and she LOVES hers too!!!

After we came home from the restaurant, I ran to Wal Mart to get picture frames and to get my pictures printed.  Then, I ran by Michael's to get ones to paint for their room.
Here my precious husband has hung my pictures for me already.
The collage frame is from their baptism and then the single picture is of Kenny, the girls and his parents that turned out so nice.

I plan to paint their frames and add crosses to them tonight - the ones I got from Michael's for their rooms.

What a BLESSED day!
PRAISE GOD INFINATELY!!
